Emergency Pool Pump Repair at Local College Over Spring Break

Our Maintenance Division was called to perform an emergency repair on a shallow subsurface pump that recirculates water through a local college’s main swimming pool in compliance with health code requirements.  The large turbine pump had to be craned out through the roof of the building.  Since the college was on spring break, the failed pump had to be removed and replaced, the motor repaired and the system returned to operational status in less than one week.
