Digester Rehabilitation

Fluid Resource Management was recently awarded the contract to rehabilitate a primary digester. The digester, with a capacity of 700,000 gallons, was placed into service in 1966, was taken out of service, cleaned and inspected at the end of 2017 and it was determined that the interior of the structure needed refurbishment. The project included sandblasting, resurfacing and re-coating of the walls and fixed steel dome roof with Utilithane Polyurethane. The structure is approximately 70’ in diameter and 25’ tall with approximately 8' below ground level. FRM resurfaced and recoated more than 10,000 square feet of concrete and steel surfaces.
